Another Postcard from Germany

There are currently 195 Countries recognised by the United Nations, and I hope to collect a postcard from each and every one of them. Getting a postcard from certain countries will be difficult I am sure, but I do like a challenge. I am doing this using my Interpals Profile and the Postcrossing website. I hope to have exchanges with lots of people and gain some insight into different cultures and backgrounds.

While I have had a few postcards from Germany already I believe this is my first one depicting the Alps region, which certainly looks absolutely beautiful. I also love the ibex photos, thank you Kate! Since I already have a postcard from Germany, this one is not included in my overall count to 195 cards.

I love seeing and reading about the kind of food that people in other countries like to eat. On the back of this postcard Olga writes about how popular pumpkin is in Belarus, how people will make pumpkin soup, or pumpkin pies and fritters. It sounds delicious! Thank you Olga! I already have a postcard from Belarus, this one is not included in my overall count to 195 cards.

This is my sixthpostcard from Russia! While I certainly look forward to all postcards I recieve I am starting to think that perhaps the algorthms Postcrossing use could do with some tweaking to balance things out a little. Thank you Ann for this lovely card! Since I already have postcards from Russia, this one is not included in my overall count to 195 cards.

Thank you Lena for this postcard from Belarus featuring a powerful bison in the Naliboki Reserve. I had not heard of this place before so I went on to Google to search for it. It looks absolutely beautiful, miles upon miles of pristine and untouched forest. I haven’t been to Belarus yet however this certainly makes me want to! Since I already have a postcard from Belarus, this one is not included in my overall count to 195 cards.

This may be one of the most delightful surprises I have recieved from anyone on Postcrossing. Although strictly speaking it is not a postcard, as Cherri sent me a greetings card containing some seeds that I can plant in the spring! Due to work demands I was planning to cut back on my gardening this summer however I think I will be delighted to find a pot and sow these mixed seeds. Thank you for the surprise Cherri! Since I already have a postcard from The Netherlands, this one is not included in my overall count to 195 cards.
